The things that couldn’t be done now without major backlash. As brilliant as they were and are musically.

GRAMMYs

The energy and performance was of course terrific but yeah it’s pretty cringing to view now albeit I believe there was semi backlash that then Andre 3000 mentioned he had Native ancestry but I digress. In my opinion it wasn’t a good image towards our peoples that doesn’t take away from their talent obviously..and I was a supporter of them as a kid but yeah it’s hard to watch now performance aside to be honest. It could so not be done today it wouldn’t even make it to the show most likely.

People cracked on them for being “weird” and “unusual” but honestly as one young kid rapper by the name of Lil Tech once said on an Instagram live, “These big time famous rappers are the weirdest n__s I’ve ever met in my life” they’re all like pretty much. lol Any of those textbook naturally artsy types are but rappers yeah they’re just as eccentric as Outkast were image just interpersonal speaking by any stretch. Key and Peele did a funny skit about them a few years back when they had their own show on Comedy Central.

Obviously it’s highly exaggerated but yeah all those types have their quirky tendencies. It is really funny sometimes like “What planet did you come from?” Lol It’s like I’ve said before don’t take anything they say or do to heart too much… they’re just eccentric or even bat sh__ in some cases to be blunt about. They have their good points artistic wise of course. Anyone from that realm is pretty much nowadays more or less. lol
