It is not surprising the regions that have not been affected by COVID, matter of fact when the outbreak began several news outlets mentioned how American Samoa survived the influenza outbreak quite well in the 1900s. It’s really no wonder how mostly Polynesian, Micronesian, Melanesian, and Asiatic peoples have remained untouched by the latest pandemic of COVID19 because aside from being somewhat isolated, some societies more than others, when left in our own environments, ways, and diets we remain pretty healthy furthermore immune. It’s when colonialism, tourism, and adopting those ways and diets our health as well as our life spans become a different story. That’s why Samoa has a limit of how many buildings can be built, how high IE no building can be taller than a church, etc to avoid pollution and overpopulation.
