A Feminist Treasure

The 1965 underground film, Faster, Pussy Cat Kill Kill, a vanguard of feminism due to the portrayal of Women especially Women of color, sure it was campy and the dialogue was quite possibly less than so so but it was ahead of it’s time in many respects. The actress who played the part of the main protagonist basically called the shots during filming, there was no casting couch, little to no nudity, and Lesbianism which was not talked about in that day hardly any. Basically they were the baddies of their day chasing green ... again keep in mind it was 1965. What can be said? It was a zany film.
