For Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month I am posting on the Guamanian and Chamorro cultures that stemmed from the Mariana Islands mostly, how we came to be, how we were colonized by Spain followed by America then occupied by Japanese Imperialism, how we also encountered discrimination and genocide at the hands of America then Japanese rule. How the land is an American territory but not a state. It is a forgotten colony of the United States.
