“Ambition Without Knowledge Is Like A Boat On Dry Land.”

As said in 1994’s The Next Kirate Kid. That is quite so if you have all the ambition in the world but not willing to educate oneself on what it takes to obtain it let alone keep it it’s lost ambition. No knowledge in an ambition you’re lost, just floundering through life. Also, really a great premise of the film it did highlight the popular types everyone praises and thinks are so great are often the ones to be the most prone to exude their entitlement to hassle, bully, and or take advantage of others. And those with a strong spirit are often the most abhorred by them. It really did comment on the problem of sexual harassment and such that often exists in the lives of youths, Girls especially. Therefore in some ways it was ahead of the times.

Featuring a fresh faced ,Hilary Swank, as Julie the main protagonist.

There have been talks of bringing her into the Cobra Kai series but I don’t know as she wasn’t part of the original cast and had her own story line. Perhaps among the most poignant statements made in the film,
