I’ve posted this before I have to say unfiltered studio-less is always more dope (no pun intended) than the In-person music has a whole different vibe and feel than processed, non, etc.

I was listening to it on Youtube Music that a 2016 version was created for the Soundtrack probably because that is when the culture began to really shift. It was well done and flipped by the cast as opposed to the original group. In the day there was dispute about the nature of their lyrics. They were telling the stories and truth of street life which was where they came from Compton. Unlike now too many they weren’t posers. They actually were of it.
