Casting Pearls Before Swine
“Don’t give that which is holy to the dogs, neither throw your pearls before the pigs, lest perhaps they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.” Matthew 7:6
I’ve spoken on this a great deal and as expanded on by Michelle Mckninney Hammond in her publications as a believer who actually lives it not just does lip service and twists the Bible to justify amorality to be blunt as many do. If you go into the metaphorical pig pen don’t be surprised of being trampled because what else do pigs do or know? Nothing is sacred to pigs because well that is just the level they are. You don’t put yourself in that spot because that is all metaphoric swine perceive others to be regardless. They perceive others at the level in which they are and live. That is why you will not see me walk into or put myself even in the same realm as hypothetical pig slop to be entirely unabashed as I am about it. I’m better than that and very aware I am better than that. Like I always say when a problem arises from that underbelly or potentially could as I usually go with my gut feeling that’s typically right “Go throw your trash on someone else because I’m not it.” As Joseph Prince once said in a sermon geared towards young people mainly when peers make fun of those who do not choose to spread themselves around and to remain a virgin until marriage “To be like you anyone can, to be like me you couldn’t for one day.” I’ve had it come at me so much over the years due to being victimized so many years ago and the fact it was spread around in a certain field to my knowledge, I can practically smell the stench of that kind of under belly rancidness and am very aware to get as far away from it as possible. If being victimized by a depraved monster and their online imps from hell over the years made me very aware young the depraved have 0 respect really or sanctity for anything or one. They’re depraved therefore one of us can’t put ourselves around them, speak with them in any way, or deal with them in any way. They aren’t the kind I belong to just as I am not their kind and of course they’re not going to like us. Therefore it isn’t surprising when one of us are at all affiliated or even perceived affiliation with that type of underbelly as a Girl or Woman of faith we will have all kinds come at us about it being that realm breeds that depraved animalistic mentality. We don’t need to be affiliated with it at all, it’s no place for a Girl or Woman of faith that actually lives it and of course they’re not going to like any of us who have self respect so expect to be hated at some point. The world despised Jesus so it is no surprise they would despise those who actually serve him and walk it out too. As Kirk Franklin once said, when you are a Christian and place yourself in a system that is not conducive to that, whatever you place in that space will destruct. Besides if that is really what you are you can’t straddle the fence, if you are not then straddling the fence is second nature if not first nature. It begins with thoughts, then actions, which leads to choices. There are just things and beings you don’t need to be dealing with in any way. There is always a price to pay for it when you go against God’s commandments and deal with dead things or as a loved one used to say “Don’t play with dead things.”
