Cautionary Tale

This issue blew up last night on TikTok. It is never okay to manipulate, dupe, groom, or make use of people. There is no positive or good way that could end. When people tell or show you who they are believe them. There is always preludes to the final reveal of a person.

Never use the internet as an excuse to hurt people, lead people on, let alone groom people, or anything of that nature. It’s amoral and makes those who do an ahole if not a predator. The end case closed on that.

This is a cautionary tale as Willie D spoke on in a fairly similar case DO NOT DO NOT go out of town to meet some out of the way individual let alone sleep with them. You could end up assaulted, getting ahold of some psycho, trafficked, diseased, or dead. Keep in mind social media is not a place to link up with people, network, or anything else. You do not know the person on the other side of the phone or keyboard. Even if you’ve met them a handful of times if that in person does not mean you know them. You are not in their day to day life. Social media is certainly not a place to cultivate a relationship of any kind from. To be brutally honest always have it in mind the only reason anyone would look for that is a short term hook up that’s it you aren’t their significant other. Period, if they met you on social media typically you’re 1 of 1,000 that’s it. The end case closed. This happenstance occurs a great deal, do people know how many times Women like myself have burst the bubble of females that were coming at me that were led to believe their hook up was something when all the while the male was poking around like that or in my DM’s even over the years? Too many to count. Social media is not the place for it because you will have happenstances like this more often than not. In cases of any kind of entertainment or arts based they are not interested in furthering a career they are perceiving people as a potential piece to be entirely frank on it. It’s an ill-fated occurrence that unfortunately happens far too often. One party maybe looking at it like a human based thing or a leg up in extreme cases but the other is not that’s the general consensus. For most that component is removed from the perception ergo objectification of people. That is why you can’t mesh internet life with real life too many things that can turn left.
