Cyberstalking
Human Rights Advocates, Girls and Women especially, Journalists, Human Rights Defenders are often subject to this the most especially if we’re survivors of Human Rights Violations thus very outspoken. The whole core objective is to shut us up basically therefore the agenda is double sided one for sport and 2 to silence. The sport part frequently drives the urge to harass, taunt, slander, monitor, and or stalk. This can take the form of harassment campaigns which are entirely illegal particularly in most countries outside of the United States, Spreading of false information (slander) about the subject or subjects of harassment/stalking, Hacking of course, email intrusion which is no less of an offense than physically tampering with the mail of another, revenge porn, hijacking the accounts of others to harass with comments, posts, and the like. Monitoring and or hijacking a subject’s account. Instructing others to harass a subject or subjects in some form (This can be considered inciting violence.) This type of ,Freedom of Speech, violation can entail combing through a subject or subjects online activity (albeit the harasser or harassers have been blocked from) via another account or several accounts (as violators tend to create) in order to flag or tamper with posts in some form. Same with the hacking of posts, articles, etc also a violation of human rights. Other various cyber abuses phone tamper, calls, text messages, tags meant to harass and so on. It is an affront against Human Rights and Civil Rights entirely.

No matter the negative motivation for such violators of law and civility never allow those kind to silence which is their main goal to control the narrative of the subject or subjects. Never allow such to do so. Us advocates, human rights workers, defenders, survivors especially will continue to keep on speaking out with the truth. As quoted by UN Women Australia
“When anyone tries to silence you, you must raise up your voice.” United Nations
