Elvis & The Memphis Mafia
“The image is one thing human being is another.” Elvis Presley
Whilst doing a bit of training I saw some of the ,Elvis & The Memphis Mafia, documentary. Quite an ill fated life albeit as iconic as is to this day. It is always grim how many of them of that magnitude pass on like so and often so young or too young. They either don’t live through their 20’s (also known as the 27 club) or later on in life after living a life of debauchery. It is always such a loss when legends like that pass on. You figure they are in a world of excess around a bunch of leaches, yes people, fakiness, egos, those who use them and vise the versa after awhile, toxicity, being a cash cow, etc it is no wonder they sooner or later crash and burn. They often are their own destruction — their own worst enemy. There have been talks of recreating the ,Elvis & Me, biopic based on the memoir of the same name by Priscilla Presley for the big screen as opposed to for cable being the original came out in the 80's. I hope they do.

“We had to weed out the squirrels from the lambs because the squirrels are a little nuts.” Elvis & The Memphis Mafia Joe Esposito speaking on how they selected groupies to hang with.
Now it’s the opposite they’re all nutters pretty much, if you come across a sane stable individual groupie, famous, or hangers on it is few and far between to put it succinctly. lol That’s one of the major differences now. They are all almost fully nutty and especially anyone around them are. It is difficult to deal with or handle them in anyway because all of the toxicity and viper pit around them or in their lives.
