Finally

On the closing stretch of this publication at last. I’ve spoken of this biography before but I’ve literally been off and on for years with this book (also known as the story that Arthur Golden essentially ripped off from the former Geisha he utilized as a consultant thus the information he garnered was based on the true life account of her time in the ancient profession, couldn’t help but add the salacious stereotypes of Geisha to his version likening it to prostitution, AND professed on a radio show that the former Geisha ,Mineko Iwasaki, who served as a consultant for the novel of ,Memoirs Of A Geisha, had sold her mizuage as a youngster at the highest bidder to free herself from debt also called the usual white entitlement of UNTRUTH when people of color especially Women are involved which always makes me wonder — Why do white people or those who are disgraces to people of color often think it’s okay to make up falsities about us trying to make us look bad? Like you would think the fundamentals to ensure human dignity and equality that is the 10 Commandments would actually mean something to people IE “Thou shalt not bare false witness” But I digress reverting back to the main focal point now) — because when you have 3 career paths at once for a number of years you don’t get time.. or sleep generally 😄 This is the first Labor Day weekend in around 3 years I’m actually not fully professionally operating the entire time… it definitely feels strange to not be doing so but welcome in some respects. Strange to comprehend it’s already Labor Day weekend and lockdown has been going on since March. And I just saw the first commercial plane fly over in months as I’m writing this so that’s progress. 🤷🏽‍♀️
