Gaja
… Basically that’s pretty much the sentiment when disrespectful gaja are in our faces, spaces, and hassling us. We don’t even take it from each other let alone anyone else. Yes granted it was a reality show but that’s how we feel about it regardless of gender. To us it is beyond rude, nasty, and offensive as can be. 🤷🏽♀️ Indigenous cultures same thing more or less. Jewish so on so forth.
Any marginalized or persecuted peoples share similar sentiments. If you notice we’ll get away or try to get away from such quickly because it’s toxic and repugnant to us. Some are more intense about it than others ,but yeah if the shoe fits lace it up and wear it. If you want to be a culturally and even morally in many cases offensive demeaning bawlow then that’s what you are then. It doesn’t make such anymore than a disdainful troll to show such little respect for us when we’re not bothering anyone, minding our business, and or not to mention in our own spaces all the while you are a guest when speaking on cases like these. No one is so privileged and entitled as to disrespect us in any form. 🤷🏽♀️ That’s why marginalized peoples tend to stay within our own communities because it offers cultural support and to some degree protection law typically doesn’t grant us. Who can blame those who grew up in specific communities? To those who are more or less on our own there is little to none. We protect us, our faith, families protect us, activists, and those who support our rights — that’s it. This is why offenders to any degree tend to mess with us a bit more or try to than those who stay in their communities. This is back to why we always have someone accompanying us in public to ward off those who mean ill and or utter predators in some cases. As marginalized survivors like myself became well aware of, predators are keen on the marginalized because they are aware they can get away with bloody murder practically or literally in frequent cases. They know they can enact the most disdainful onto us they wouldn’t think to do so to anyone else. Offenders know Human Rights more often than not don’t apply to us which is why many marginalized communities have a 0 trust and or lack of initiating contact with law enforcement for assistance. It’s a waste of time. Law does not care for the most part anyway, they’re not going to do anything about violence that plague us or our communities.
It’s been statistically or rather lack thereof proven if a marginalized person especially Girl or Woman goes to law with valid charges against a perpetrator the investigation rate let alone prosecution rate is so low there’s not even any data on it despite the violence against us occurs the most. That’s why people from our backgrounds often experience the most horrific human rights affronts because predators and violators of any degree know they can get away with crimes against us in entire impunity. That’s why as exemplified in a less threatening case Roma’s often don’t even place themselves in that position to be around anything remotely offensive and will get away from unsavory behaving gogers quickly. Just look at the history as to why. Jewish similar thing to a degree. Indigenous it just depends.
