Really was the greatest performer and one of the greatest artists to ever live no doubt about it. One doesn’t see performers like that anymore, everything is so stale, predictable, uninspiring, and just plain boring. Little to no musicality, musicianship, writing or even vocals for that matter of course. The industry has really lacked luster for a long time now. That’s being entirely honest. I’ve heard many people share the same sentiments, it’s unfortunate, disappointing, and depressing quite frankly for anyone with talent that’s ever been around, apart of, or in the industry. It’s just so dumbed down to just basic-mess or whacky that for whatever reason the media dubs genius and astounding, when it’s not to be totally honest. Frank Zappa in the 80’s took part in a whole interview with MTV as to when that pattern began happening and why it was headed down a path of the corporate and the stale.
