Haka Spirits

This was a brilliant video created around 6 years ago now by ,DJ Jad, mixing Polynesian, Micronesian, Melanesian, Asian elements with the Haka turning it into a Trap visualization. It really encompasses the spirit of the peoples. We came from Warriors therefore the point is if attacked as Korean American Hip Hop artists ,Dumbfounded, spoke on in the recent ,Unapologetically Asian, Apple feature — expect a rebuttal of some kind. We are not the kind of people just to lay down and take it. No Indigenous based peoples are.

Let us be real here we come from peoples that had tools such as Mere Clubs to crack skulls of our enemies, shrunken heads was also a thing in some of the groups, some (not all of Pacific Islanders or Indigenous groups in general) practiced cannibalism of enemies so considering that we don’t take anything at all generally. Honestly we don’t have to. In short we’re tough a$$ peoples who are still here because of our Mana (spirit.) As the protest chant went during the protests of DAPLA in Lakota territory “What do we do when under attack? Stand up and fight back” that’s the Indigenous spirit as a whole be it Mainland, Pacific, or otherwise really. We wouldn’t still be here otherwise despite mass oppression, colonization, wars (this particularly applies to Asian historically speaking), the Rapes of Nankings, genocides especially what occurred in the region of Cambodia by Pol Pot during the 1970’s for example, violence committed against us mostly our elderly and Girls, the targeting of sexual violence including trafficking by predators, stereotypes, and marginalization.
