Hawaii- 0 Girls Locked Up

According to numerous reports there are currently no Girls incarcerated in the Hawaiian Islands due to it’s implementation of the Juvenile Justice Reform Bill (Act 201) to address it’s then high child incarceration numbers. The bill met with a imposing movement to return to the Hawaiian way of life has resulted in a positive impact for the Islands.

For the first time, there are no girls incarcerated at Hawaii Youth Correctional Facility
