Hugh Hefner- The True Reveal of Playboy

A recent trending A&E docuseries titled “The Secrets of Playboy” revealed the long concealed true nature of the Playboy empire. An empire that was based on force, fraud, coercion ergo sexual assault, sex trafficking (including minors), sexual harassment, exploitation, drugging of Girls/Women, child porn, bestiality, addiction, maltreatment, underpayment, sexual harassment, enablement, and cover-ups. For example the reality of young Women purposefully sent on “photo shoots” by Playboy that weren’t actually photo shoots but boldly and well put nothing more than flesh peddling to the degree that one of the models contracted AIDS she believes by someone that she was sent to under the guise of a “ photo shoot.” This “client” drugged and she assumes raped her for several days. Of course as the world is aware of the series of Bill Cosby assaults, Jim Brown, and so on. The fact Girls and Women were mere sex objects at the hands of powerful males has been insightful to many within the public sector, conveying that the fantasy of “Girl-Next-Door-We-Are-Not-Porn” was and is invalid.

What numerous people to this day do not realize the moment anyone exchanges money for the services from someone be it sexual or domestic work that is Human Trafficking. Purchasing someone in any form is Human Trafficking under the law if there is money exchanged for someone that is what it constitutes.

The truth of Playboy is was built upon a chauvinistic predatory exploitative system that has preyed on the vulnerable, naive, and young as any exploitation does. Thankfully we are living in the era where this kind of behavior is no longer commended nor applauded. The over sexualization, exploitation, and degradation of Girls as well as Women is losing its steam in mainstream pop culture… it just doesn’t realize it. We live in an era where this behavior is grimaced upon and greatly detested. Exploitation is not liberation never has been never will be.
