“Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided. So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left. And the Egyptians pursued and went after them into the midst of the sea, all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. Now it came to pass, in the morning watch, that the Lord looked down upon the army of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and cloud, and He troubled the army of the Egyptians. And He took off their chariot wheels, so that they drove them with difficulty; and the Egyptians said, “Let us flee from the face of Israel, for the Lord fights for them against the Egyptians.” Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters may come back upon the Egyptians, on their chariots, and on their horsemen.” And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and when the morning appeared, the sea returned to its full depth, while the Egyptians were fleeing into it. So the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. Then the waters returned and covered the chariots, the horsemen, and all the army of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them. Not so much as one of them remained. Exodus 14:21–28

“He (God) said I’m gonna pass through I’m going to tear everything up. I’m going to tear it all up. I’m going to tear up Egypt. I’m going to let Egypt know you think you big you think you bad let me show you I am that I am. I’m going to strike the first born of Man and beast. I’m taking out cattle, I’m taking out crop, I’m taking out financial resource, I’m taking out anything the enemy has used to hold you hostage and any person God’s about to supernaturally remove them out of the way.” John Gray I’ll Pass (Passover) Sermon

I believe I’ve reposted this on Medium before but I know for sure I’ve reposted it elsewhere. It’s a sermon by John Gray covering the subject of Passover. Quite profound and powerful.

There are 2 parts to it but either way it’s powerful.

Paula White once so eloquently put it, God will mess with those who mess with you and God will bless those who bless you as a true believing child of God. You don’t mess with God’s people. He will not have it and ultimately it does not end well for those who do. If you think you’re going to come up against the living God you are in for a rude awakening. I shared the other day I have been a witness to this time and time again as many believers have been. If anyone were to think they can oppress and or abuse a child of God in anyway God has a way of showing who He is. He’ll only warn those who do but so many times before he’s done playing. No one can use God’s lingo or God’s grace against a child of God or children of God if they themselves are not let alone from the way of a maltreatment.

“It’s the job of Egypt to hold you hostage. To make you see yourself from the perspective of brokenness. God says ‘I’m not going to let you be held hostage anymore and I’m not negotiating.’ God’s not a hostage negotiator he’s a deliverer. I’m not giving any passes to the enemy. I’m going to take them out and everybody that’s held you hostage is going to know you got a God standing behind you.” John Gray I’ll Pass excerpts
