How an intellectual spends their late Friday evening, honing Indigenous Hawaiian language (Pōʻalima) and Latin (Latine) because it’s free and accessible. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Wanted to see what mainland Indigenous languages a system had to offer but all they had was Navajo which I’m not by blood anyway a few great or great great in laws but blood no to be specific. Guess I’ll stick to sharpening Indigenous Hawaiian for now besides we don’t believe in blood quantum anyway. Even 1 drop of Polynesian blood counts as being part of the people. And why are the hoalauna shooting off fireworks that kept me awake anyway? It’s 3:00 am… there’s not any special holiday on the calendar. Wahi wale nō 🤷🏽‍♀️😄
