IT Part 2

Another psychological outline of the science fictional story of ,IT, and how the story can parallel aspects of reality.

We see in the scene of when Pennywise retracts after the protagonist ,Beverly, has shown her fearlessness via defense against IT’s attack that again survivors of abuse, sexual violence of any form, etc often have that stigma placed on us… by usually ignorant older archaic mentality females. Females of that mindset are the most substandard perpetuators of not only the stigma as well as discrimination of us but often times they also enable the abuse as well. There is a whole psychology behind that which could be said from everything to envy of younger Girls and Women to not liking the reflection that ricochets onto the projectors however it’s a subjective case by case basis.

We also see where it’s mentioned insidious bully psycho a$$ ,Henry, projects the belittlement and bullying he endures by his Father onto others he deems “weaker” and more vulnerable. Essentially it is commenting on the often truth of bullying that in some cases the bullies were or are bullied by someone who has either been in authority or just in general which puts them in the frequently lifetime cycle of the bullier and the bullied. This goes without saying there is NEVER any excuse for that behavior, free will is always an option. It also highlights how quickly they crumble when they’ve met their match because they’re really weak despite the bravado display of behavior.

And of course Pennywise…well his character is simply an inhuman evil psychopathic clown who manipulates, causes contention, and chaos for the clownish fun of it. As the character of ,Beverly, spoke on when the group had an argument after ,It, retreated

“This what IT wants. It wants to divide us.”

Not so unlike some real life beings that do not really have an excuse or story of any kind there is just something innately twisted and wired amorally amiss about them. However with all this said the most stark part is facing fears and not allowing that to dictate the future or life. You have to fight back in order to metaphorically end IT whatever hypothetical IT you have.. and of course whatever has been oppressing and trying to intimidate you isn’t going to like it but to be free to have a life of your choosing it’s something that has to be done OR always be pushed around and your life dictated by your own metaphorical IT.
