Little Red

“Beware of false prophets which come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly they are like ravenous wolves. You shall know them by their fruit. Every good tree brings forth good fruit but every corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. A good tree can not bring forth evil fruit neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. There by their fruits we will know them.” Matthew 7:15–20

Unlike 1996’s Freeway which was a little too much in my opinion, Little Red, a modernized independent rendition of the, Little Red Riding Hood, tale Amazon Prime at last decided to add to it’s list for American access. I recall viewing and posting about it years ago. The fact that it’s not too far off from true life predators. Like they always wanna sniff on you, take photos as a kid, young person, anyone in general, follow you around, creep on you, lurk on you, try to get info on you, etc like just grotesque behavior entirely. Brilliant portrayal and rendition on the classic folklore this adaption was originally released in 2012 and gained several awards at film festivals. As I said many years ago pretty accurate portrayal of real life predators gender regardless. They always leave you with an unsettled feeling. Just something about them doesn’t sit right with you. Their impression always gives you the creeps to be honest. They typically do go after naive young people or those they believe are easily manipulated. It’s like a Woman I spoke with who’s granddaughter had been in the life of sex trafficking, lured in by a much older pimp like many prey have been “They look for that you know. That look like ‘She’s so pure if I can get that to work for me” take photos, webcam, porn, etc. And yes they always want to “Take care of” those they prey on that and “Help” right off a metaphorical cliff. Always be careful when people start trying to talk you into something and sell you a dream that might just be too good to be true. And even if it’s true we all know there are too many metaphorical wolves lurking around in it. Always if you see someone trying to chat a young person up in a certain kind of way, becoming inappropriate in any form, lurking, predatory behavior in general, or trying to lure off anywhere alone it’s always up to anyone especially us older more experienced persons to step in letting it be known that is not okay, back off, and or report it most preferably.
