On this day people are commemorating Malcom X as well
2 entirely different historical figures who were equally driven in their fight for justice and equality. One was more “militant” than the other but it was honestly necessary for the time and in many respects still is. When violence of any kind is being committed unprovoked onto the recipient then those who are being unjustly placed on the receiving end have every constitutional right to defend themselves and in cases when extreme physical violence and oppression is being done to innocent person by any means necessary. Both were equally effective and important to the Civil Rights movement and for the movement of equality today for Brown and Black people especially.
