Following the 2020 omission of the cultural festival then 2021’s event held with no audience, Merrie Monarch festival 2022 was held with an audience this year during Easter weekend. The annual cultural event is an elite and profound demonstration of Hawaiian and Polynesian culture. It is held in Hilo, Hawaii.
