I have been searching for the section of a recent Patton Oswalt Stand-Up where he presented insightful points about MeToo. The stand up special was called “I Love Everything.” He had outstanding points about when movements such as MeToo, Times Up, No More, It’s On Us, etc became public that he himself being a middle aged Man began examining his past actions and self of “Did I ever do or say anything inappropriate to a Woman?” He pondered on whether he was ever a poor example as a Man etc UNTIL the true life #MeToo stories from survivors began making their way into the media and public knowledge. After he heard some of the stories he went on to say “Oh wow I’m good” basically because the perpetration acts were so violating and extreme in the most degrading negative fashion there could be.

He further expanded on this by joking on how male’s guilty of sexual violence of some sort such as with any predatory type of any variety or gender always attempt to legitimize their violations of someone else by being like “Yeah they wanted it.” He was basically like “Let’s think about this no Woman would really want to have a male masturbating (or some other cringing lewd act) committed in front of them or upon them. No sound Woman is going to be like ‘My Matador has arrived!’ LOL

He was on about it. No predator can possibly expect anyone to buy the notion that prey would want to be violated and or straight up sexual assaulted in any form. No one really wants to be violated and demeaned in some way unless they are way-out-there- in-screw-looseville while having the thought “THIS IS SPECTACULAR! This is the high point of my life!” Let’s be logical and rational about it. No Girl or Woman wants any of that.

The Netflix special is funny and greatly suggested.
