Narcissism
Only reason a narcissist does anything is to build upon themselves, they’re obsessed with themselves and anything that is as they see it an extension of themselves. They really do think they are the be all and say all in life. When they compare themselves to deity they aren’t kidding they really do think they’re in control of their own little empire or universe. This goes over into thinking they can control people too in some kind of omnipresent way that no one has that capability honestly. That’s why I’ve often found narcissists have ties to “black magic” professedly so of any variety because they like that delusional feeling of they’re in control of everything and people. That’s the premise of a narcissist full power,control, manipulation etc. Which makes sense why they’re often so out of control in real life and thus can’t function in real life because for one they’re delude in their belief of “power” , which is no more than an average individual. For 2 they spend all of their time trying to control everyone and thing around them when they’re unable to control themselves. Which is why a narcissist hates nothing more than being told the truth that they’re nothing more than human & nothing special about them. That means in the sense of narcs really do think they’re some kind of super human being like a mythical god or goddess superiority over others. It’s called delusional thinking. Some of that could be motivated by narcotic usage, pre mental illness aside from solely narcissism, etc. In non psychological terms they really think they’re something they’re not and have more power than than have. In my personal observation and experiences they often drive themselves into mental states from trying to control everything/one usually through terrible means, met with addictions, thus leads to their mind (whatever mental capacity they ever had) just checks out — being they have literally driven themselves into mental breaks trying to be some impossible super being they’re not and never could be. To quote any quality psychologist if you’re thinking you are literally deity, some super human with special powers, and or in some grand authority you’re not you need to go to a mental health physician ASAP — because that’s a clear indication of a break from reality.
I believe this was the gentleman that spoke about the whole aspect of when a narcissist is told the obvious that there is nothing super human or special in that sense about them as they really do believe they are - but I can’t be sure. Still an interesting video to watch especially if having ever dealt with a narcissist or narcissists.
