NDA = DNW

Like many who have been in the field of fashion, entertainment, etc etc we have been invited to parties that require an NDA signature prior to entering.. and often times they will confiscate attendees phones too. That is a hell no. Listen, I went into Prince’s Paisley Park place twice for exclusive shows with the brother standing 2 feet from the attendees and no NDA or removal of phone was required. To go off what I was saying earlier Indigenous people and paperwork signed to the dominating people has not been in our favor therefore no thank you. 😄

To me NDA equals Do Not Want. As a Young Woman of color especially it’s not the brightest idea to attend any party that requires an NDA to be signed before entering. Because NDA may turn into MWB. Meaning Missing While Brown/Black, not a good idea whatsoever. NDA = IWS meaning I Will Skip.

Conspiracy theories or not moral of the story is don’t be attending none of those type of parties when you are in the arts, fashion, or anything of the sort.

There was a YouTuber whose video I can’t seem to find but although she was misinformed in some of her assumptions about sex trafficking she was not about these parties. Her experiences in attending those kind of parties. They are not what people think they are. A young person, Girl, or typically young Woman especially could be drugged, raped, sex trafficked, kidnapped, or even murdered. Word to the wise if an NDA is required for a party like that then it’s a LIA Leave It Alone.
