Rescue 911: The Positive Side of Humanity
I’ve written on this before but there was a 1990’s show that featured real 911 calls known as “Rescue 911” it lasted 9 seasons. There were talks shortly before COVID that there would be a reboot which would be a revitalizing look at humanity as there are suitable people on the globe. On the other hand it’s a reminder that it does not pay to be a criminal because criminals will be caught especially in this day and age with technological advancements and forensics you will get caught. Being Ronnie Dobbs the Most arrested Male or Female is not something to aspire to.

For those of us who have dealt with real textbook emergency situations, worked with responders , and 911 operators they have a ridged job having to handle moron if not violent criminals regularly. There are a great deal of crappy officers sure but there are also a great deal of well equipped decent ones. Side note it is because of this a great deal of youths or those who came up in rural, isolated areas, or exposed to it at some time in our lives are taught to defend ourselves. Often we are taught to shoot or how to use some sort of weapon in the event of an attack of some kind because of the fact responders aren’t always readily available to arrive expediently. It’s not uncommon for those who grow up in isolated areas of some sort to know from an early age how to properly handle a firearm for that purpose first aid, etc etc all of that. Many carry some form of self defense in such areas. Word to the wise for criminals don’t attack rural people of any kind because likely you’ll catch one in the a$$ to be blunt. Not a bright notion whatsoever.
The fact the show gave the floor to survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, kidnapping, children that survived sexual predators, home invasions, etc was pioneering in an era those sort of crimes were not widely spoken of in that light as survivors as opposed to victims, it was commendable. The creators need to put it on streaming or DVD because it could assist someone is in a life, death, or violent attack situation.
