Respect for Ancestors

There was a Black Woman that spoke on the usage of the term n_a and the stereotypical behavior. She put it succinctly — We were raped, we were hung, we were called n__ers we didn’t go through that to be called N__as nor behave like it either. To behave like a bunch of mal-raised pieces of work either. It’s a disgrace, it makes Blacks and Brown people appear like less on the pecking order of the human race that for a large portion of history we were taken for. A brother once put it like this — We don’t respect each other or selves so how are we demanding respect from anyone else?
