Respects
Prayers and condolences to the loved ones of activist ,Daisy Coleman, just aged 23. Trauma of sexual violence has so many lasting implications and it’s a tragedy to hear of it. For those who aren’t aware Coleman was the activist and sexual assault survivor of the acclaimed documentary, Audrie and Daisy, on the sexual violence that took place towards not only them but countless young Girls out there, the harassment that followed, the road through trauma, and triumph. Her legacy will live on through her organization as well as the said 2016 documentary that shook awake the public on what it means to be a survivor of sexual violence and the backlash it can bring. Deepest condolences to her loved ones.
