Ricky Martin: The Shock Of Coming Out
I remember the rumors then finally a decade later he finally confirmed the rumors were indeed true. It shocked a lot of people but I think he waited until after the height of his popularity to come out. There are still a lot of people in that realm who are in the closet & always be so because of image.
There was actually a video created by a YouTuber that was very interesting speaking on the different types of Men on the Down Low as it’s known aka also known as Closeted. I believe the creator is LGTBQ. It really is true, for anyone that is familiar with the LGTBQ community 1 can just tell when someone actually has same sex tendencies but trying to hide it by a variety of ways. To tell the truth I can. Sometimes the more they try to portray one image the actuality is the facade is a cover for same sex attraction.
I wish I could find a presentation Obama made several years ago on this at a luncheon for Black Men I believe. He spoke on several subjects but that was one he mentioned. Should I ever find it, it was very interesting and true. It may have been this taken from The Guardian
He was addressing more along the lines of toxic masculinity and the truth of it.
