Ruth Gruber
There was a documentary on the late Woman who truly was ahead of her time — she was named Ruth Gruber. There is a 2010 documentary about her life aptly titled “Ahead of Time:The Extraordinary Journey of Ruth Gruber.” She experienced a great deal of life and history. She spoke on one point how she was located in Germany while on assignment I believe not long before Hitler took power. She spoke of how when he was doing his infamous ranting as Gruber stood in the crowd (as a Jewish Woman at that) put it “These are the words of a madman” and got out of dodge immediately. The moral of that is when beings are clearly legitimately insane and obviously mad get as far away, do not engage as much as possible. There’s a difference between mental illness and stark raving mad. Returning to the life story of Gruber it really is a fascinating look at her life.
