Sahara Nomads
A great short documentary by CGTN AFRICA about the nomads as the Sahara.
Having been in the region before, living a a semi nomadic lifestyle most of my life especially my young adult life, and being of mixed nomadic descent honestly as underlined in the documentaries I honestly do not know how much longer the people can continue to survive in the desert especially since climate change as well as the radioactivity discovered in the Sahara recently. I fear many will have to assimilate in some way in order to survive.
Planet Documentary also created a similar documentary on the subject. The nomadic lifestyle can be particularly harsh on the Girls and Women as also noted in several studies and documentaries. There is at least one organization for Girls and Women based in Morocco towards primarily those of nomadic lifestyle and blood for the purpose of autonomy, education, and equality. I will say they think nothing of those who harm children or Women.
To support Project SOAR visit the link, give them a follow on social media, or donate. I stress this immensely to people of the area or of blood — you must care enough about your own people at some point, if you do not nobody else will either. When you don’t care about your own people and their well being that is when inequality occurs and thus a threat to the lives of the people.
