San People
When the Khao-San in you (as in me) shows up once again but not yet in the data bank because San people are Indigenous and don’t want to be bothered further than they already have in anyway, shape, or form being the people are a minority of less than 400,000..at least as last counted in 2010. Khao -San predate race and the first peoples of South Africa. As in the case with most if not all Indigenous peoples despite our sacredness and everything we’ve contributed to civilization particularly Africa in this particular case the people are still being forced out into poverty, hunger, disease, death, pushed into struggle, and at the mercy of the powers that be. As stated instead of being greedy how about just leaving the people alone to live in peace on the lands that belongs to us, those who remain there call home for once? What a novel idea to leave Indigenous peoples alone for once.
It’s believed we’ve been in the region for 10s of thousands as years. Basically we’re ancient… literally.
