Satanic Panic VS Dungeon And Dragons

This overview of the Satanic Panic of the 1980s and early 1990s is spot on. It’s like someone was saying it was based on fear mongering basically as well as if you were to not have the right information then there is overreaction and jumping to conclusions that essentially aren’t valid. Then of course conspiracy theories somehow become involved and from there goes way off the the cliff of sense and critical thinking. The unfortunate side of the Satanic Panic is many people had their lives destroyed by the false accusations of the Satanic Panic that wasn’t accurate at all. It was frivolous like most panics based on neuroticisms, not using any critical thinking skills, and fear tactics. It basically was a media hyped panic gone very wrong. The last of the satanic panic was really around Harry Potter but not at the level it was back in the 80’s and 90’s. We see that panic now only towards Black Lives Matter, ANTIFA, and of course COVID19 for example. That’s what happens when critical thinking is not utilized to its fullest extent or potential. People cherry pick and jump to conclusions that have 0 validity. To quote Dune,
