In the book of Daniel there is a story of 3 Hebrew Gentlemen by the names of Shadrack, Meshach, and Abednego that against the degree of King Nebuchadnezzar would not bow down to a golden graven image. Neuchadnezzar threw the Hebrew Men into the furnace but instead of being burned alive the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob stood in the flame without a burn. The moral of the story is faith, devotion, and steadfastness.

“Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning, fiery furnace; and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.” Daniel 3:17–18
