It is not always as apparent as people think often times it’s more subtle than people realize. If people wear the same clothes on repeat, layer even when it’s warm, frequent the same public areas daily or near daily, cleanliness, sometimes they’re clean/groomed sometimes they’re not, etc etc they very well maybe homeless. Of course if they’re on narcotics there are obvious adjacent signs for that as well, squatters also are fairly subtle as well some more than others of course. Some are very apparent others it’s definitely much more subtle.
