Sparring Against God- The Lieutenant Dan Complex

What occurs when those that attempt to spar against God, is God eventually wins. You can’t spar with the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob and yet not expect him to deal with you in some form or another. He will. There was a scene from the film ,Forrest Gump, I’ve spoken of before that made a stark point. It is about like that sometimes those who fight God to the extent of lunacy in some cases. Their rage, contempt, and anger towards God and anyone of God is unparalleled. They have no peace in their life or selves because they are the metaphorical Lieutenant Dan seeking a showdown between themselves and God Almighty. What occurs is one of 3 instances they either accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior thus change for the better as people, they flee, or they’re contemptuous existence ends after they have rejected Jesus over and over again. It’s one of those 3 happenstances. God has a way of showing you who he is until reprobate people yield.

I’ve said to the wicked, the proud, and or Godless types before in some form, You’re running from God. You’re gonna continue to spar and wrestle with God until God reveals himself and you fall under the hand of the Almighty God. You’ll either change, become hardened, flee, or end there is no other way that usually concludes.
