The Anti Social Network of Cyber Hell
There is a documentary on Netflix aptly titled “The Anti Social Network” that presents the pitfalls of social media ranging from harassment, toxicity, cyber harassment, real life trolling, crime, onto harmful political pseudo “movements” IE the alt-right, gamer gate, Q’anon/conspiracy theories, doxing, criminal harassment, etc. Basically the mayhem that has ensued because of social media. When I spoke with the FBI as well as several experts in the field of the harassment and sexually based crime ranging from exploitation 16 years previously
— present day daily sexual harassment, harassment via that predator as well as those associated with them that obviously my information was doxed to that I’ve been violated by for years the FBI agents I spoke with basically stated that they investigate these crimes regularly that it’s woefully not abnormal really the sole recourse to abstain from that is to entirely log offline because it will be there at some point. If it’s not a sole perpetrator it will eventually be another that is what the internet draws — most habitually than not. It’s the nature of the internet.

It’s a shame users don’t wield it for good but rather to cause mayhem, injury to people, corporations, brands, or even prey upon people in some sense of the term. The documentary concludes on previous 4chan, anonymous etc members speaking on the internet isn’t power, it isn’t real, those sorts of actors commiserate over their lack. It’s an illusion of power they don’t really have and an illusion of comerade that isn’t real. That it isn’t life and removes users from real life.
There is another documentary on the crime of Sextortion and sexual exploitation aptly titled “Cyber Hell.”
