The Best of Enemies is a true story that recounts the summer of 1971 involving activist Ann Atwater, who was a very outspoken activist that forged a friendship of sorts with C.P. Ellis, a KKK leader, in order to co-chair a summit on the desegregation of the schools in Durham, NC. Albeit the debate and rivalry lead to revelations that consequently changed their lives forever. Admittedly I have not seen it yet but had knowledge of the story. A very profound story and I’ve no doubt film.
