The Conspiracy Theory of The Lost Cause
With all of the talks of racism, color-ism, classism in America there remains an existing ideology what was called “The Lost Cause of The Confederacy.” It essentially is a pseudo historical folklore if you will that claims the cause of the Confederacy entering the Civil War was heroic based but not based upon slavery. This dogmatic fallacy created fanciful claims as far fetched as the Klan at one time had black members due to the Klan being based on social status not color and that the Klan themselves were merely frat boys that didn’t take their malevolent expressions as realistic but perhaps based upon bad press.

This is the ideology that is seen in Extremest Right-Wingers, Nationalists, and Sympathizers to this day.
