Sums up my reality in a nutshell. lol Particularly since social media.
In seriousness if I knew as a kid I was going to have so many problems come at me and try to be stumbling blocks in my drive to simply dance, vocals, model etc etc especially since I was a kid and social media I just wanted to utilize to promote what I want what I like to do, advertise, reputably network in fields I’m actually in, etc I would’ve been like “Oh hell no, screw this.” Nightmare fuel, seems like trying to stop people like me in life before really ever getting started like Jesus Cristo with just nonsense BS. The things no one tells you or prepares you for when you’re growing up and in your youth that there are a lot of twisted sick beings out there who for one don’t know their place in life or selves. You think you’re just going to go out there people mind their own business and do their own work not all up in everyone else’s trying to sabotage it always in their face, way, space, etc when most times they shouldn’t even be because they’re not part of it or have any talent in it. I never knew until I encountered the aforesaid predator and their kind from hell those types even existed or were on the street I always thought those people were locked up away somewhere let alone had any place in the business or connections to it… or anyone with anything going for them would ever be down with destructive all negative creep beings like so but of course the world has shifted a great deal especially that realm. Basically I guess people like me didn’t realize just how severely dysfunctional the world and towards people it really is. I had an idea but not to that extent I’ve had come at me and encountered. I’ve had more extreme nonsense come at me over the years it’s not even funny but there are a lot of predators and hate filled beings out there I suppose who just spew garbage all over everything they encounter, seek out, or touch. People need to know their positions in life, they really do not everyone else’s. Or on the flip creeping/lurking on Girls/Women with aspirations acting like they could or would assist furthering our careers but just want to bed one of us if not entirely sexually assault us in too many cases. Between that and talentless putas coming at one of us who think they’re so special because they blew somebody or rather multiples in the industry usually or want to thus we actually have real talent — in their envy/jealousy etc it’s just too much really. Essentially I had no idea that realm was that tawdry to be blunt when I was a kid, like we all have 24 hours in a day go do you and get out of everyone else’s face trying to annoy, distract or cause a problem. It’s pretty simple. But it does explain why people like the late Prince carried himself the way he did and nobody pushed him around because God knows people in, around, wannabes, fan-atics, and resenters (who are usually the worst offenders) will try to. Meanwhile it’s like “Why are you even here or trying to be in our space at all? You aren’t even an entertainer or talented by any stretch just a hangers on at most. You need to know you place and stay in it. ” Just as those who encourage that type of destructive galling behavior need to be made aware that’s not okay either don’t care who they are or think they are there are some things that are just wrong period.
