Again for Black History Month especially during our current climate where the minority Uyghurs of China are continuing to be oppressed, imprisoned, raped, sex trafficked, tortured, and murdered… and next to not a complaint being raised on the suppression of 2 million people or any movement towards investigating these known crimes against humanity albeit in a London tribunal held in December it was ruled China is indeed guilty of genocide. In fact NBC is forging ahead with it’s Olympic coverage beginning tonight and minimal American athletes are taking part as well. Other athletes pulled out entirely after Taiwan was threatened by the historically tyrannical country.

We live in a society where the Rohingya are also continuing to endure ethnic and religious cleanings in Myanmar, and Darfur has been ongoing since 2003 as the killings have not ceased.

It is dire this portion of Black History never be forgotten and our leaders of various sectors live up to indeed never again. Only roughly 25% of the Tutsi population survived the Rwandan genocide as well as moderate Hutu’s where the number estimates around roughly 100,000. Of that population 250,000 Girls as young as 4 through Women where systematically raped and or sex trafficked among the militia, etc. Some were murdered afterward, some died as a result of their injuries especially if they were young Girls, some survived. There has been a few reunion stories of survivors that thought their families were killed or missing. Many recall the 2006 Oprah Winfrey Show episode in which 2 sisters were reunited with their family.
