The Issue With Stans

I was speaking with an individual today about harassment online involving a public figure. Typically it is not the public figure doing so or encouraging it although some do of course as was believed to be encouraged recently in the issue of Kanye West fans that essentially chased off Pete Davidson from social media. There are what are called stans ergo fan-atics. Stans obtain social media, names, and contact information of the subject or subjects of harassment. I couldn’t help but have cognizance of the fact a great deal of the made up accounts, porn, etc I have received followed the same celebrities, 2 of them are the same Women. Here is the thing, stans will do things to harass Girls and Women they perceive as being in the way of respective Darrells and Ferals notables being together therefore they will harass Girls/Women they perceive as a detriment to that. They vicariously live through the lives of notable figures they essentially idol worship and preoccupied with. IE the Beehive are notorious for that type of behavior, Prince fan-atics can be pretty nuts as well, Grande stans, Gaga’s were sometimes known to be fairly hostile, Kardashian Paparazzi types, etc etc. It’s my understanding a few years ago an instagram model was entirely run off instagram by Kylie Jenner fans after the model claimed she was wrongfully pinned to have been allegedly having an affair with Travis Scott.

Basically often nuts that have no life outside of devoting their lives to whichever figure they praise. This is why the internet doesn’t need to be involved in the lives of people, it’s not anyone’s business, too many things get misconstrued too many things read into by fan-atics, etc. Don’t involve the internet into your life or disputes. Others lives aren’t anyone’s business. Support is one thing surveillance and involving yourself in it is quite another.
