The Red Herring of Being Users

Anytime beings users begin to lose traction or on the other side those attempting to gain relevancy they’ll always pull out the red herring instead of bowing out and walking away maybe just admitting their time is coming to a close as they may not have anything else to offer in that space OR reinventing themselves the correct way. Many especially when it comes to the arts, fashion, sports, or anything like that have their moment to some extent or the other — it’s when to gauge walk away or mature becoming more versatile. Using beings is based on distress not maturity. That is a cycle of hype to hype dopamine rush to dopamine rush even basically surviving on that not authenticity. There was an early 2000’s film called ,Lost in Translation, where a former 40 something year old film actor that was basically on the other side of his popularity as it occurs to everyone, going through a mid life crisis, and on location in Japan to film a commercial.. this bothered him a great deal that his career was commercial based as opposed to blockbuster films. I saw a article today by Vice titled “Millennial's Who Wish They Were Gen Z.”

In which basically from some of the quotes by way of early thirties Millennials they sounded more like they felt a certain way about getting older more than anything and intimidated by younger people even IE Gen Z. Aging is part of life, many don’t have the privilege. I once heard a professional say “When you’re secure in who you are you can walk into any room and talk to anyone nor be intimidated by anyone.” When you’re not it’s quite the opposite. The point is deluding oneself by trying to grasp at red herrings because you feel old or whatnot is a waste of time. How about being the 30 something 40 something 50 something whatnot without all of the frivolousness? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Besides who would want to be teens and early 20 something year old forever?
