It is highly recommended. I have written of her story over the years several times as being one of courage and inspiration. Her story always resonated with me as innumerable survivors out there. Her story has always been an encouragement to the testament of a true warrior and survivor spirit. I’ve spoken on ,Tina Turner, before that really inspired and propelled me into the direction in life I took. Around the time I began one of my paths professionally after having been able to make it out of my own thoroughly violent experience followed by the extreme harassment, resentful stalking, and monitoring in order to usually infringe on my life as spoken of — there was that instant in a turning point of my life of “I can allow this SOB, their sympathizers control and ruin my life OR I can get up, flip it and live. I can just accept the way things are live my life out under their low grade terms OR I can change it” which led me to take a step even further. Because of it I am thankful to say I have been in the same spaces professionally as well as personally as Ground Breaking Survivors, Diplomats, Policy Makers, all levels of Officers of The Court, Entertainment Figures, Advisors, some of the most esteemed Academics, Royalty, Prime Ministers, Business Figures, United Nations, and Stakeholder Organizations.

After years of being denied in another field I actually began my life in as a very young Girl and was my main goal in life I was cast not once but several times in Fashion Week as both a model and dancer, and later signed with representation. I have trained with or been instructed by the best. Albeit I must say my (as the name of a Tina Turner album of the mid 90’s) wildest dreams have not materialized yet I like many survivors am headed there and like the example Turner displayed nobody & nothing can stop us. We were victimized but we don’t have to stay there we can move on in our lives to much better things. The true story scene of when ,Ike, showed up at her debut show in order to intimidate her but she remained unshaken therefore went out there and did her thing anyway was such a resonating occurrence to survivors of that type of menacing behavior be it Domestic Violence, Sexual Violence, Trafficking, Harassment, and or as a result Stalking or Harassment — often by the same perpetrator. Also, impart to the internet by way of the perpetrator. It’s a very common theme of control by abusers of any variety.

This is probably not the clearest retelling of it but the point is powerful enough.

Never allow any abuser of any kind in life to stunt you in life because they will try that’s the only power they have because they have none over themselves. Respect always to Tina Turner such a beacon of hope to survivors of this type of violence. Bravo!
