University Student Gone

Another young life gone far unduly soon due to acts of violence that could have been prevented. A young University student by the name of ,Naira Ashraf Abdel Qader, of Egypt was slain by a harasser that she had reported to law enforcement.

Another reminder upon being serial harassed law needs to take it more seriously than often does because a harasser of any gender is never to be underestimated, trusted, nor anything else. As posted a few days ago never trust those types. Especially if there has been a history of that sort of behavior because all too frequently this is what occurs. It shifts from online to the real world. I don’t trust anyone that harassers, trails, etc people like that because no one but themselves and God are really aware what any harasser is capable of. In the case of the late ,Naira Ashraf Abdel Qader, it sounds reminiscent of a honor crime where she turned down the advances of a male, he deemed this as some sort of affront to his “honor” thus enacted the fatal crime. It is prevalent in areas such as Egypt. The numbers of violence against Egyptian Girls and Women has a penetrating presence. In 2021 alone the average violent actions against Egyptian Girls and Women doubled from 2020. It also goes without needing to be said that the majority of these crimes are under reported due to the societal patriarchal attitudes and inequalities that linger within the often injustice system.
