What To Do

This is what you do when anyone tries to stand in your way and stop you in life.

Keep walking either metaphorically or literally. Many remember this memorable show while a then 22-year-old Gisele Bündchen was walking for the annual broadcast of Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show the stage was bombarded by what we would now refer to as Karen’s on a power trip. In all cases the models did the thing any true professional does, they kept it stepping and blew them off before the parties were escorted off by security then I believe arrested if the story serves correct. Thankfully they didn’t do anything more than obstruct the runway that aside they could have caused the models to fall resulting in injury. When out there we are just doing our jobs and careers therefore it’s no one else’s business, entertainers same thing, just get out of our faces and let us do what we’re getting paid to do in some form or another. And forewarn those of us who grew up in dance, modeling, anything like that we can be mean as hell when we need to be and will push you out of the way. We have to be because of the atmosphere we’re in and people will try to push us around. Just don’t get in our way there won’t be a problem. Props to the young lady that just pushed Karen out of the way on their a$$. That’s exactly what you do in life when someone tries to stand in your way move them out of the way and walk over them because let’s face it some things aren’t even worth facing off with it just is there to get in your way and waste your time/energy.

It’s like so what? My former exploiter and serial stalker pre COVID did crappy shows all of the time and no one saw me wasting time jumping up on the stage looking stupid and making a spectacle. It makes those who do so a troll and and an a$$ it doesn’t get your point across effectively bottom line.

When I did a show in New Jersey for a networking event last year I had a couple of low class a$$hole’s yell sh__ from their seats at me. It was too dark to view who it was but I think security checked them as it didn’t happen again as I came out 4 more times after for different designers. Thankfully I wasn’t on a thin runway. Apparently they were too ignorant to know in professional fashion shows you have to walk fast, you can’t hold up the line, you have 3 seconds to pose at the end then you better move your a$$ otherwise you’re taking up time showboating and looking dumb, thus causing people to not make it to their next changes, dragging out the show, etc. When you’re professional you got to move otherwise you will be run the hell over not to mention generally will be yelled at by producers. Moral of the story never allow anyone to stop you in life from doing what you want and love to do.
