This is why you always need to be aware who you’re speaking with when it comes to technology. I’ve spoken on all my nightmare fuel from social media to text messages of it not being the owner or owners behind it vise versa myself included several times.

People have been assaulted, kidnapped, or even murdered by using someone else’s phone, social media, email, etc because the victim thought they were meeting up with someone they knew on the other end. Hackers can also take over someone’s tech — I and my people have had that occur a few times too over the years as legally reported and provably so. Tech really isn’t fool proof unfortunately. Passcodes definitely can assist with that issue but isn’t infallible.
