Detective: “Isn’t it a little dangerous for kids to be out here (Skid Row) at night?”

Man: “Not anymore.”

Detective: “Why?”

Man: “We have an angel now.” Peppermint

Greatly recommend this film ,Peppermint, a strong Woman lead as played well by Jennifer Garner.

Netflix Technology Blog

This premise is semi Colombiana

Except differs in placement characters and such but really great moral core and character writing. Highly recommended. There is truth in reality that when it comes to criminals cartel related especially 3 top things you do not play with in their realm

1. Their money

2. Their product

3. Their blood family because family is family (to a lesser extent their friends, etc, etc.)

Moral one of the story is don’t play in that world moral 2 is when justice had been denied especially due to corruption (which does occur ergo where we have seen similarly in the cases of Black and Brown Lives Mattering) sometimes other means of justice fits the crime albeit not without a price to pay for it. One can’t judge and say whether it’s right or wrong because in some cases it is at the very least comprehensible. The premise calls into question the system the act of vigilantism based on egalitarianism not to be misconstrued as vengeance, who are the real criminals, and why are real life criminals often allowed off the hook? All in a creative artistic way not to mention highlights an empowered Woman lead as aforesaid.
